Hey buddies😀
I told you i’d surprise you with an awesome kokonte recipe i recently discovered. Well if you have no idea about what i am talking about you can check out my post on Sweet African “face the wall”.
The kokonte cake is a new recipe yet to hit the African terrain. Don’t let the name deceive you, the cake looks nothing like the actual kokonte.
A slice of kokonte cake.
Unlike regular cakes which are made with flour, kokonte cake is made with cassava flour, beaten eggs, baking soda, flavoring essence, sugar, butter and milk.

Promising to become the next new treat to hit the Ghanian terrain, kokonte cake would become the new “Chlis Blown” favorite of kumasi and also the new item on dessert menus in restaurants.
Who would like to give it a try😀
